More than 2,600 people have signed an online petition calling on Mars New Zealand to bring back Pods, after the company announced the beloved Kiwi treat would be disappearing off the shelves.
The beloved Kiwi snack that s been a go-to treat for many a road trip and movie night is being discontinued, according to manufacturer Mars New Zealand.

TVNZ reporter Andrew Mcfarlane revealed a statement from the company on Twitter this week.

After going virtual for a year, awards shows are back, and this year s Academy Awards are set to be held in person.
The luxury goodie bags for nominees will also make a reappearance, and include all sorts of extravagant freebies from plastic surgery consultations to holidays in Swedish lighthouses, the Guardian reports.
Entertainment company Distinctive Assets will again provide its traditional Everyone Wins gift packs, to be sent to the nominees for best actor, actress, director, supporting actor and supporting actress.

Russia has ordered its troops amassing at the border with Ukraine to pull back, dialling down fears of an imminent invasion that threatened to pull the West into conflict with Vladimir Putin.
An estimated 100,000 Russian troops had moved to the border and into the Russia-occupied Crimean peninsula, something the region has not seen since major hostilities in eastern Ukraine in 2014-2015.

Former Canterbury Medical Officer of Health Dr Alistair Humphrey has appeared in the employment court in a bid to be immediately reinstated to his position.
He was let go in October last year after Canterbury District Health Board chief executive Peter Bramley concluded Humphrey s employment relationship with the health board was irremediably untenable , resulting in an irretrievable breakdown .
Humphrey has lodged a personal grievance against the CDHB and is asking to be immediately reinstated.
